To use OpenAerialMap images within Google Maps, you should be able to use a GTileOverlay like this:

var tileLayerOverlay = new GTileLayerOverlay(
  new GTileLayer(null, null, null, {
    tileUrlTemplate: 'http://tile.openaerialmap.org/tiles/1.0.0/openaerialmap-900913/{Z}/{X}/{Y}.jpg', 
    isPng:true,
    opacity:1.0
  })
);

map.addOverlay(tlo);
